TOPIC: overlapping discounts

I was asked to add a discount code for a group that will have both indibidual and group registrations. No problem, , but I just realized that by enabling a discount code along with the group discounts, some registrants could claim a double discount.

How can I make certain that a discount code can't be applied to a group discount? But I still need the discount code to be available for very small groups that are fewer then where the first group discount kicks in:

<x discount code valid
>x only group discount

There is no way to setup the discount codes in this manner. They will not check how many people are in the group.

Might there be a way to make discount codes only available to individuals?

Not presently... but maybe in the future we can consider that as an option.
