TOPIC: Registration emails not being sent

I am trying to fix an error on a site that is using an older version of DT Register. Whenever a user registers for an event, the registration process works fine and payment through paypal goes through without problems, however the confirmation email that is sent to the administrator with all of the user information never gets sent. We are using Joomla 1.5.9 with DT Register 2.3.6 and JEvents 1.4.3 RC2. DT Register was working fine in the past and only recently stopped sending new registration emails. I am told that the only change made to the site was an upgrade to JEvents from a previous version. Could this be causing an incompatibility with the installed version of DT Register? What version would we need to make it work?

2.3.6? Are you serious? There is no good reason for that... sorry As you are obviously using 1.0 based extensions, you should at least upgrade to 2.4.6, which is available still when you download the latest package. It will work with JEvents 1.4.3 so no changes need made there. Nothing in JEvents ever affects actual functionality of DT Register. You just need to upgrade to the latest version available for 1.0 (or 1.5 legacy) which is the 2.4.6. We won't support anything prior to that, as 2.4.6 itself is already ancient software (April 2009).

obviously, the REAL solution would be to upgrade to versions of all of these extensions that has been worked in THIS YEAR . But just moving to 2.4.6 will be a quick an easy update until you can really update the site.
