(Version of DT Register in use: 2.6.6d - upgrade to 2.7 planned for mid-July)

I have a question regarding the "Register Now" button and how it displays on the "Event Details Article".

We offer the same class multiple times in one session under different instructors (different days/times). When I link to the event description using the "Event Details Article", the "Register Now" button stays linked ONLY to the first occurrence of the class offering.

Is there any way to have someone click on the "Register Now" button and have DT Register display a list of offerings for that specific class? I have to assume if the user is looking at a course description and clicks on "Register Now" they want to register for that class - it's the "which time offering" of that class that gets lost when it is offered multiple times.

You can view the list of my class offerings here, http://ecbiz66.inmotionhosting.com/~pit ... &Itemid=39 , to see what I'm trying to describe.

Hello. The Register button from the plugin can't be changed without customization to do what you are asking. HOWEVER, there are two ways to remedy this:

1) Instead of the automatic register button showing in the article, manually insert the plugin code for each event. Follow instructions found in the sticky post in this forum. This would give a register button for each event time option. Once you manually insert the link with the plugin code, the automatically set button will be replaced.

2) RECOMMENDED OPTION - Create ONE event. Then use custom fields to have users select which time to register for. Using selection limits, you can give your "capacity" for each time slot option. Then you have one register button... going to one event... same end result, but the user selects the time and such from a custom field (or series of conditional fields) instead of the listing of events.

Hope this helps :)

Thanks for the information.

I'm going to have to go to our Registration folks to see how they'd prefer to handle this but at least I have options.
