TOPIC: How to 'extend' registration cut-off date?

I created an event and set the registration date for 6/10/10.
Everything was going (almost) fine. Then I found out we needed to extend the registration a few days.
I went into the events screen and changed the cut-off date to a date past today, but the event still is not taking registrations (registration button doesn't appear on the events list). [Also, the event didn't even appear until I chose to show 'past events'.

Is there any way to change this?

Resolved!

I extended the JEvents date of the underlying event and it works now.
(Just in case someone else has this problem).
