TOPIC: Gift Certificates

Does anyone know if any of the payment options support gift certificates? I currently us Authorize.net and they do not.

The best way to offer gift certificates currently would be our Discount Code feature. Create the certificate codes then provide as needed to users. You can set a limit of how many times the code can be used... the dates it is valid... specific to certain events... etc.

Would that work for instances when a client has more credit on a gift certificate then a class costs, keeping a running total on the amount spent? Is there a way to upload a bunch of codes with associated amounts? I have several hundred existing gift certificates on a spreadsheet.

PayPal Premier or Business accounts have gift certificate capability. Are they compatible with DT Register?

We have not tested any gift certificate options in PayPal so we don't know the official answer to that question.
