I am seeing a component within here for registering using the menu item for jevents... does dth not handle registration of events? am I missing it?

furthermore I would like to have a "tab" within jomsocial to register events - dth has a few plugins for jomsocial(1 of which ads the button) is this possible?

Thank-You

JEvents has a very simple registration option which has very little capability. DT Register adds registration functionality far beyond ANY other Joomla solution. When you purchase and install it, you'll have DT Register menu options to get a listing of events. We also have a plugin that adds registration buttons inside the JEvents calendar if you want.

For JomSocial, one plugin shows the user's registration history in their profile. The other shows user registration activity in the site's activity feed. Both include links where other users could go and register for that event.

You ask if DT Register supports registering for events which is odd... as that is the main purpose of the component. When you create a component menu item for DT Register, you have options to make a listing of events, which can also be events of only specified categories if you want. That list provides registration access to your events and is the main method of access provided by DT Register.

We have a plugin that comes with the package that when installed and enabled will automatically add a Register button into the details view of an event in the JEvents calendar... once it has been setup for registration in DT Register.

The JomSocial integration plugins will show the user's registration history in a tab of their profile... and the other plugin shows registration activity in the JS activity feed. The event names in the activity feed are a link straight to registration for that event.
