TOPIC: Authorize.net window

When a registrant goes to pay using a credit card I thought they would be directed to authorize.net to complete the transaction? As it looks now, in test mode they enter card information on the site and I never get to the window that was created on my authorize.net account. I asked that card information not be stored onsite in defaults. i entered the api and transaction key as required Is this because I am in test mode?
I have hopes that members will be directed to the secure authorize.net site

There are two ways that Authorize.net can be integrated... and the way DT Register uses it does NOT redirect anywhere. The entire transaction takes place on your site. You should have a SSL certificate for your domain. The credit card details are NOT stored in your Joomla database. Just because the transaction happens on your site doesn't mean you will store anyone's payment info. Thanks.

thanks for the quick reply. is there a way that we can enable the redirect to authorize.nets window? since the protection is there I would like to use it. Authorize.net is a trusted card transaction method registrants recognize and I would rather put the protection obligation in their hands like pay pal redirect obligates paypal
