TOPIC: Overriding Payment Methods

Hi-

I can't seem to be able to override the payment options for one event only. I am trying to set that up with a paypal payment only. All our other events have a pay later option.

To use different payment options for just one event, go to the Payments tab in the EVENT (not the configuration area) and set the top setting to "Unique" instead of "Global". Unique will allow you to use the settings on that tab INSTEAD OF the settings in the main configuration. On that tab, just select PayPal for your payment options and you should be good to go.

oops - a strange problem now. When I turn the unique on and test. I get a message from PayPal that the merchant is not able to accept money. When I have the global set, it tests fine.

Is there something else I need to do?

For your event, make sure the paypal account info set is correct and that it is set to Live.
