I have created a 100% discount code for course instructor to use to register phone-in course applicants for courses that cost money. This controls maximum numbers, and lets the instructor register the applicant without having to personally pay the course fee.
However, a back end administrator needs to change the registration via DT Register/Records to delete the discount code (or substitute a zero percent code), change paid status to No, Payment Method to 'At the door' and enter the amount due.
All works except the discount code field. Even if it is cleared or changed, when saved, it reverts to the original 100% discount code. How can I edit the field.
We are using ver 2.6.6a

I have someone that forgot to use the code and I tried to edit it in the backend via records but it does not take the code. keeps reverting to a blank field.
This guy is part of an 11 member group with lots of details so I would hate to put him through redoing his registration.
Is there a way to apply a discount code retroactively?
There is not currently a way to add a discount code in later. That was done purposely. You CAN modify the price of the registration though. You could also create a hidden field setup to give various discount amounts and select the appropriate discount... that way you have something to modify prices with automatically on the admin side.
