I have 4 custom text fields (14,255,255,255) in a 2.6.6 version.
Two issues:
1) a 110 character value (long URL string) is stored in the customfield, visible in mysql in the jos_dtregister_user record, but does not appear in the DTRegister Registration Records (option=com_dtregister&task=editmember) nor is the value inserted in the [FIELDX] email template.
(cannot shorten the URL - it includes a key value needed to grant access to a service)
2) No record edits are possible. IF I attempt to edit a record, pressing apply or save returns a white page with the url mydomain.com/administrator/index2.php . This happens whether I make any changes or not.
Nothing appears in the error_log - I'd really like to get this fixed.
Your comments here do not make complete sense. What exact version are you using of 2.6.6? The latest is 2.6.6d. If that is not what you have, update as there were some custom field related bugs in previous 2.6.6 releases. Once you have 2.6.6d in place, if you still have an issue, submit a ticket so we can see what is happening and help to find the cause.
I'm using DT Register V2.6.8. I wanted to add a new custom field, but whenever i try to click on "New" this weird "white page" appears (see attachment). I don't see any error on the logs. and the URL says mydomain.com/administrator/index2.php. Please help me out.
Upgrading our CentOS server's PHP package may pose some difficulties. Is it possible to install an older version of DT Register so that we can continue to use our current version of PHP (php 5.1.6-27.el5)? I have a distribution of DT Register 2.5.9 -- will that work with php 5.1.x?
