Hi All,

Just to say i am now getting to grips with dt register and so far i am very,very impressed with it's sheer power and control.Well done DTH Development.

Please can anyone point me in the right direction regarding registration/login with joomla and the dt component.

Can you set it up so that if someone registers to your joomla site and becomes a member,they also become members of the dt register.All i can see is setting a dropdown menu to tie in with joomsocial ect if you have these installed to which i do not.Am i missing something.

Also how can i add the confirmation order number to the email once they have paid via paypal,just want someting to use to confirm payment was made by them when they pass through the doors of the venue.

Any help would be great.

Hello David. DT Register does not have member status... DT Reg just checks to see if the user is logged in. Whether you use core joomla login, Community Builder, JomSocial... doesn't matter. Whichever route you go, you are logged in... or you're not logged in.

The profile integration with DT Register is an option that affects auto-population of profile data into registration forms and also profile link options in the attendee's list. It has nothing to do with a logged in / logged out check.

For the confirmation number, just include the email tag [CONFIRM_NUM] in the thank you email. The email setups show all available tags to the left. This is also covered in the video tutorials. Be sure to check those out too! :)

Hi ,

Wow,what a fast response.Many thanks for your time dthadmin.

Yes i have certainly missed something.I feel so silly because i did watch the videos and missed the whole thing :roll:

I also discovered after further reading the forums that the login register was not working correctly due to me accidently having in my event the Prerequisite Categories clicked and highlighted so when i tried to change from public to private event, the frontend was not allowing me to see the event as public again.

Well sorted now and Many thanks for your reply and support.
Still feeling silly though :mrgreen:
