TOPIC: [SOLVED] not able to cancel event

Hi
registered for events as testing a site, but not able to cancel any of my events even thought they are set to happen a month from now. Was working before. Any advice as to where to control this?

Already answered in your ticket... you need to upgrade as you are experiencing a bug that was already resolved.

This happened after reinstall. Do I need to reinstall all the components or just the main one?

Did you reinstall the latest package or what you already had? Look in your list of installed components where the versions and dates show. If you have the latest build, it will say 2.6.5 April 29, 2010. If it says any previous date or version, download from My Orders and reinstall the latest package. If you do have the latest already, submit site access in a ticket.

Now, I was assuming you were referring to an error that was showing in the cancellation process previously... but you didn't give much detail. If you are not getting an error, but simply don't have cancel buttons showing for users to cancel, then you just don't have things configured correctly for your event.

Not an error. Just won't let us cancel when viewing my events that have registered for. What is the admin setting to adjust?

In the setup for your event, there is a tab "User Panel". There you have to enable the ability to make changes and/or cancellations for that event.
