TOPIC: Two-day event confirms only the first day

A two-day event on our site shows up correctly in the upcoming events module (May 14-15), and in the title of the event (May 14-15) ... but after registering, the thank-you screen and the confirmation e-mail both show:

"Thank you for registering for our event on May 14."

This is inconsistent and may confuse users. It seems the [EVENT_DATE] field used in the messages/e-mails only grabs the start date. Is there a way to use whatever field is being displayed in the module and event title instead?

Using the latest DTRegister (2.6.5) but was an issue in earlier versions too.
