TOPIC: Ordering T-shirts..

In our event, we want to allow participants to preorder t-shirts, longsleeves , hoodies etc. Is there any good way to let each one select the number of shirts, size for each shirt and color logo with variables of prices?


I basically need a way to let them order x number of product and specify sizing, color etc and compute the cost as each may vary. Ideally, you would select 2 tshirts and then 2 sizing options would then be available, each with their own price points.

I think I could to this the hard way but it would entail a crazy number of selection boxes.

Bump.. any ideas? Is there a reasonable way to accomplish this? Is a shopping cart module in the future some time? There is already a function that asks how many in your group then generates the appropriate number of pages. if I could use that to ask how many shirts, how many hoodies etc I could work around this without the mother of all drop down menus or using text fields.

You'd have to accomplish this with a combo of custom fields. Having as many variables as you do, there is no simple way to accomplish this. If you can, hang tight as we'll be adding conditional fields probably within a week or so. Then you'd be able to have the ability to make a string of fields all tied together, showing dynamically based on user selections. That would help quite a bit and not be as big and messy and you might get to right now.

That sounds like a workable solution!
