Hello,

We're using DT Register 2.6.4.

When someone enrolls to an event which is full, we get the notification email that they have been added to the waiting list, but the record is not being created in the backend. I have checked jos_dtregister_waiting and it is empty.

This is a reproducible problem, it happens every time for us.

On a side point, I'm pretty sure I had occasions where the record for the registration had not been created either, i.e. the user registers, gets confirmation, but nothing in the backend.

First - you need to post support issues using the account you purchased DT Register with. We have no orders under this username.

Second - the waiting list issue has been resolved. Please download the latest package of DT Register from My Orders on our site and reinstall. You'll then find the waiting list working correctly.

Third - if a registration record is not created, the reason could be a few things. Would need more details regarding payment type, etc. I'm assuming it is PayPal... which would mean that IPN is either not enabled or you have auto-return turned on in the paypal account. Both of those items must be set according to our instructions seen in the backend of the component.

Thanks. The update did indeed solve the problem with the waiting list. I will keep an eye on the problem with the registration record, I can't remember now whether it was PayPal or not...

The module was purchased by a client, for whom I'm their integrator. Hence it didn't make sense for me to use their account to post support issues.

Can I suggest you make this change to dtregister.php :
