TOPIC: [SOLVED] Can't deactivate google maps

Yes, i did. I just tried to delete the event and added a new one. Same happens. I'am asked for google api key...
How can i avoid beeing asked for the api key. I can't use it here.
Next thing is i need a way to show the city of the event in the events list without using google maps.

Hope we find a solution.

This has been resolved for the user... and for anyone else, download the DT Register package again as we've updated the package to include this fix. Now, if locations are set to NOT show, the google maps api key will not be checked.

I, too had this issue and it was mostly resolved when I downloaded the newest version of the update. I do not use the locations feature at this time.

However, when the link in my main menu to the all events registration page is clicked, the pop-up message re "...needing a different google maps api key..." still appears.

i did go in and recreate that link, but still the error message.
