TOPIC: [SOLVED] Register Now gives timeout

Hi

This is my first go with DT and it looks good. Problem is just I cant get it to work.
I installed com_jevents_1.5.3, created a public event, publiced it.

Installed com_dtregister2_6_4b_J15 together with all the plugins.
Created an event there as well, assigned to an article.
I get the view all events, I can see the list, I see the Register link.

But when I press it, it just loads for ever, untill it gives a timeout.

To begin with, I installed DT, and afterwards Jevent.
Been uninstalling all, deleting from SQL and starting over following all steps.
Same problem.... load load, error.

what should I look for?

You said you installed ALL of the plugins. Did you happen to install the JomSocial plugins without actually having the JomSocial component installed?? Or did you install the SSL plugin without actually having a SSL certificate for your site?? Just some items for thought. All we can do is guess without seeing the site. If you can't sort it out, submit a ticket. Thanks.

And you were right - the problem was solved by removing the SSL plugin.
