TOPIC: Discounts for Members

The membership structure of the club I belong to offers different discounts based on the person's membership level.

At our Silver membership level, users are only entitled to a discount on seminars. Our Gold level members discount on seminars AND any training classes we offer.

We'd like to provide both the Silver and Gold members the ability to login to the Member's section of our website since we include information such as Meeting Minutes, contact info for our Board of Directors, and current list of officers in that area.

So far, the only way I can find to give our Gold members their class discount is by creating a Coupon Code. Is there a better way to do this?

To have a safer additional discount for Gold Members, the discount code would probably be best. OR...

You could not use the automatic member discount at all. Instead use a custom field where users select their membership type:

Not a Member|Silver Member|Gold Member

Based on their selection, the assigned discount is added.
