Looking for some help to setup a specific pricing package... let me know if this can be done in one event, or need to make multiple events and any other details to help figure this out. Thanks in advance.

Event date: May 23

Tickets purchased before May 8:
$25 - Adult
$20 - Kids 4-9
$20 - Kids 10-13
$99 - Family of 5 regardless of age

Tickets purchased after May 8:
$30 - Adult
$25 - Kids 4-9
$25 - Kids 10-13
$125 - Family of 5 regardless of age

We need to identify kids in the 2 age groups as they will have separate arrangements for each group.

I made a custom dropdown field for kids 4-9 and kids 10-13 and set the values 0 - 8 and made it a priced field 0, 20, 40, 60, 80, etc. This worked perfectly except for 2 concerns:

when registering as a group of 5, it includes kids, but if I keep that dropdown, then the user will likely indicate how many kids from each group and be charged extra. second issue is that if i remove it, how do i identify which of the 5 people registered are adults vs. kids and what age group.

I hope this isn't an uncommon pricing structure and someone can help me set it up in here.

When making the dropdown you will make a custom field.
When you go to the event and click on: Fields
You have to set that field by group registration: Each member
By each member they register they have to use the dropdown.
That way you know by every registrant if its a adult or child and what age

Is this what you mean?

The field you are referring to creating would be to determine age group which is fine, but it isn't price dependent.

The problem is with the group registration. I can use this field you mentioned to determine the age, but it would also appear on the individual registration.

I want to charge $99 (early bird) or $125 after a date REGARDLESS of age group and number of people registering (up to 5). So if the user selects 4 people, they still pay the same price because they selected the group package.

see what you mean,

please check by eventlist if you see the event with group price.
I have the same situation, if you do it good you will see 2 same events
one with single price And one with group price.

If this is not the case then you forgot by groups registration to fill in
group price AND single price by group you need to fill in both prices otherwise
it won't work

if you don't get it, email me
