I have two upcoming events.

1) Press Register button and it goes to registration if you are not logged in.
2) Press Register button and this message displays: " This event requires that you be a logged in member of this website. Please register a user account to gain access to our private events."

I have the options set the same. What could be the problem?

Is the Event Status set to "Public" for both? :?:

If an event is requiring login, one of the following is setup:

1) Event is set to Private instead of Public
2) Overlapping Event Check is enabled in the main configuration (would make all events require login)
3) You have selected a prerequisite event and/or category in the prerequisite selection boxes for your event. The prerequisite check requires login.

Within DT Register > Events:

Publish=yes
Status=Public
Duplication Prevention Override=Yes
Override Global Overlapping Check=No
Exclude Event from Overlap Check=No

This problem appears to be intermittent.

You didn't give your settings for what I mentioned. The overlapping event check is in the main configuration area. What is that set on?

Do you have any event or category selected in the prerequisite selection boxes for the event?

These things will force user login. Something like this HAS to be in your settings... it would not just happen intermittently.

I have this same problem: I have 50 events configured the same, but two are requiring the visitor to login.

Here is what I've verified as the configuration for the two events requiring registration:

1) Event is set to Private
2) Overlapping Event Check is disabled in the main configuration
3) There are no selected prerequisite events and/or categories in the prerequisite selection boxes for your event.

I am at a loss as to why these two events are requiring registration. The only thing uncommon to other events is the event start date has past, but the cutoff date has not been reached.
