TOPIC: Puzzling pricing scenario

With the multitude of custom fields and discount options DT Register offers, I’m sure there’s got to be a way to configure the following pricing registration options, but I just can’t seem to be able to wrap my hands around it. Can you please provide some ideas? Thanks for any input!

My event registration options:
1) $50 non-member price
2) $20 member price
3) $10 student price (whether member or non-member)

I know that I can configure option #2 using the member discount feature, but if I do this the discount will be also applied to a student who is also a member. What I need however is a $10 fixed price for students, whether they are or not members. Any other way to configure the above pricing options?

I would suggest to just add a custom field for the student discount...

Are you a student? Yes (member)|Yes (non-member)|No

first option would be -10
second option would be -40
third option would be 0 change
