TOPIC: Group Registration

I know this has been talked about before but I just wondered if a solution had been implemented for not having to type in everyones details for a group booking. Ideally it needs to be an event by event option to just register one persons details and they buy a certain number of tickets or to have it that they need to register everyone.

This is a real stumbling block for us especially now we have paid for the software. I noted the proposed solution but this doesn't count as tickets gone against a restricted total does it?

If not fixed is it something that is planned for?

Maybe you can do this:

When you need all fields when a user is registering then keep the fields like they are now.

If you manually want to add groups registration then in configuration uncheck the fields they must display by group registration. If you select by group registration only the emailadress you just have to fill in emaildress.
After your done, make sure all fields are checked again

This is a big issue and the only thing that seems to let down the software. We have companies that want to book tables for events we hold and don't want or need to provide the names of everyone who is attending. To be honest at the time of booking they probably don't sometimes know.

Please, Please! add this to the software. We just need the ability to order a number of tickets instead of providing all the details.

I also need an easier "group" registration. I have an event that couples generally attend together. I just need to be able to set the number of tickets.

The option to give flat rate group registrations without gathering details for each member will be available in 2.7. Hang tight. We've heard your cries... but no more crying is necessary . We're on it!
