TOPIC: WYSIWYG text triggering Joomla content plugins?

I am trying to use the content plugin Hider http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/access-a-security/content-restriction/6004 plugin to show a discount code ONLY to authors.

However, the component DT Register does not appear to trigger a content plugin before rendering.... any ideas why??

I am adding the following text ...

... to the field labeled: Message and/or Instructions to display above the registration form for this event -- in DT Register's Events list

The Plugin is Enabled, but does not work on the Event Registration Form.

It works on other articles though.

Are you triggering content plugins for textarea fields??

That plugin is for article use... not display inside of component pages. Sorry. You could assign an article to your event for more details, attach it to the Details button of the event, and provide your code there... but not inside of the DT Register forms.
