Hi,

I have just downloaded and installed version 2.6.3 and during installation I got the following messages:

JFTP::mkdir: Bad response
JFTP::chmod: Bad response

After these, it said that the installation was successful. Everything looks okay but I don't want to suddenly find my site fails because I have ignored these errors.

Any advice?

Regards
Dino

this would be due to one of two things:

1) Your FTP settings in the joomla config are not correct. My suggestion is to disable the FTP function in Joomla completely as it only gives headaches usually.

2) Due to permissions, DT Register was unable to create the image directories needed for some aspects of DT Reg. Make sure in the core Joomla /images directory that you also have these directories:

/images/dtregister/locations
/images/dtregister/uploads

If one or both of these directories do not exist, simply create them manually and go about your business :)

... and once again, you're spot on (I suppose that's why you're the programmer and I'm not) :lol:

The uploads directory was not created.

Many thanks for another swift reply :D
