I have just purchased the extension and its so great! Thanks for the great work! As i am working through setting up different ways (finding the best approach) Im wondering... if a user is logged in, and they have not registered for the Prerequisite event, can the register now button be hidden from the event which requires the Prerequisite?
The prerequisite check is not applied towards the Register button... only after the user clicks to try to register. If so, then they get the onscreen message telling them WHY they can't register. You of course customize that message. If the register button wasn't available in the list of events... users would probably be asking why they can't register or what the prerequisite events are. Using the present system, they'll know WHY and WHAT they need to do. Hope that makes sense
That makes perfect sense... So, i guess my other question to clear this up now, is For some reason no message at all shows when clicking on an event that has a Prerequisite. To be honest, i haven't look into it since your reply just made me aware of this. Anyway, ill look into this, but any thoughts you have in the mean time are welcomed.
If no message shows, then you haven't configured one. In the Configuration area on the Messages tab, you'll find a place to create the Prerequisite message.
