TOPIC: Report discrepancies

I have a report that was run after an update from 2.5 to the latest. I can't attach it for confidentiality reasons. It appears as though it is counting the person that registered twice. a report was run before the upgrade and after comparing a report after the upgrade, these discrepancies were found. A person that was part of one group is now part of another group.

I tried posting a support ticket for this. It keeps saying invalid code. What should I do?

The CSV export had many changes from 2.5 to 2.6, especially in regards to group registrations. However, there is no reason why the count of registrants would be any different. I really see NO way that a member would be moved from one group to another. Never seen or heard of that happening. Wouldn't make any sense.

Anything here really is a guessing game as we have no specific info or access to the data. If you don't sort it out, submit a ticket with admin access. Not sure why you had a problem submitting a ticket. Maybe try a different browser. People use the ticket system all day, everyday... so I know it is working. Thanks.

This was cleared up in a ticket... but for other readers:

There was no problem in this user's export data. You are just experiencing the fact that the CSV export is laid out differently as of 2.6. Previously group members were shown to the right in their own columns. This made the reports difficult to gather all of the registrant data together so improvements were made so all member names show in the same column. I'm not sure what all you've done with the file you sent, but I pulled a new export file on your site and everything looked perfect. What you see on a group registration is the first line is the billing contact for that record... includes the amount, confirmation number, etc. The following rows are for each member of the group. Some of the other date (like confirmation number) does not show on the group members to help distinguish each member so it is clear where a new record starts and ends.

As has always been, the billing contact for the group is not counted as a registrant... so a group of 10 will have 11 rows, but the first is not a registrant... just the main contact for billing.

Hope this helps understanding for anyone that may be confused.
