How can I use Google Analytics goals to track individual events?

Seems to be impossible to track this extension with Google Analytics or any other tracking tool. That is clearly a problem. Big problem.

We have not ever tested this and I don't believe anyone has ever even brought it up besides you in this post. What have you tried already?

As of recent releases you can have a custom thank you message to show onscreen for each event if you want. I would think that you could insert tracking code into that message. That would really be your only way to stick code in that was event-specific.

Does anyone know how to write a regular expression that would cover the url for all thank you messages? This would allow for use of Google Analytic Goal tracking.

For example, this is the url for a thank you message on my site:

http://www.ramekins.com/index.php?optio ... Itemid=186

I tried this expression, but it doesn't seem to work:

http://www.ramekins.com/index.php?optio ... t&Itemid=*

Any thoughts?

Goal tracking would be a wonderful addition.

Thanks

This is very important.
We need a redirect URL to send people to after payment so that we can con verify inbound links against payments in Google Analytics Goal Tracking.

How do we do this in DTR?
