Help! I am new to DT Register and doing some testing before going live. Under "Configuration," I have enabled Authorize.net as a payment method, placed Authorize.net in "live" mode, entered my Authorize.net API login ID and Transaction Key (both provided by Authorize.net).

And, in the DT Register event settings, the "Global" payment settings are selected.

So, then I go to the site and test it by doing a live registration with a real credit card, and cannot get it to go through. Every time, I get a message saying "Your Payment Attempt has been Declined." and a button that says "Try Again"

Any idea what may be wrong? thank you.

I am having the same problem. Have had a trouble ticket open since 2/18 and am still awaiting a final response.

We will have to develop an deploy an alternative registration page if the issue is not resolved by tomorrow as this is costing us $$ in registrations.

I feel that the product is superior to any alternative out there, but this issue is a major problem and I've checked with Authorize.net and the attempted "live" transactions are not even making it to their server.

If you learn of a solution, please post here as I'd love to know what to do.

I have version 2.6.7, I tried Authorize.NET in test Mode and it works, but then I went Live and all Credit cards get declined!

I went to the backed of my Authorize.NET and they report this:

Transaction Status: General Error (Processor error - The merchant account is not configured properly with the Credit Card Processor, Elavon. Contact merchant service provider for resolution.)
****

Is this DTregister related?
Please help me!

padserver - I see you opened a ticket and already closed it yourself without further comment. I assume you figured out your issue. For anyone having an authorize.net problem... if it's not working, it is related to your auth.net account itself or you don't have the correct account info set in the DT Register settings.

I have entered the information for the API login ID (some convoluted set of characters given to me by Authorize.net, and gotten a new transaction key and entered it as well. It will not process a credit card still.

Reason: The merchant API login ID is invalid or the account is inactive. Please notify the site administrator.

gives me this error. Who can I contact to find out if i'm using the right information or not?
