TOPIC: gmail accounts not working

I have registered a few dummy users onto events

All get the confirm email apart from those on Google Mail accounts?

Anyone seen this and know why?

There is no such problem with DT Register. DT Reg initiates the email sending, but the email actually is sent from your server. Most likely gmail has a block against your mail server. They are funny about things and it's really easy to get on their blocked list. Contact your host about this.

Think I have 'fixed' it by using SMTP rather than sendmail.
