TOPIC: Multivalued custom fields

I have an issue where I am trying to connect to DT Register tables from MS Access via MySQL ODBC and currently wont let me copy multi-valued fields into my db because they are comma separated within the actual field, like a group of checkboxes, etc... Is there any way that I can designate what the delimeter is within those fields?
