TOPIC: Sort Event List Differently

The event list on the front end of the website sorts the events from farthest away in time to most recent upcoming event (ascending date). For example
7-17-2010
6-13-2010
3-12-2010
How can I get it to sort in descending date order?

The ordering is based on what you set in the backend. You can order categories... then you can order your events within the categories.

sound like you mean one can choose a setting. That would make a lot of sense, But I guess what you are referring to is one have use the "up and down" arrows to manually choose the order in which one wants the events to show. Which again leaves us to redo this every time we make a change. Sorry to say this is counter productive to me. I had thought computers were supposed to make our lives easier.

This is far from optimal. To me it makes the most sense to sort as the OP wanted to.

And I for sure had expected that to be the default way of showing events.
