Hi,
I just upgraded to 2.5.9 on my test environment and the back end administration screens are showing the tags (eg DT_REGISTER_GENERAL, DT_EVENT_LISTING etc) instead of the actual field names (ie General, Event Listing). Screenshot is attached.
Please could you help me out as I do not want to roll this out to my production environment before this is fixed.
I have tried on my dev and test environments and it happens in both places. I have already tried purging the caches.
There is no problem is 2.5.9 like this. Looks like the admin language file is not in place. Did you actually install or just upload files? If you did a real install and didn't get the language file loaded, you may have a permissions issue. Just grab the file from the package (extract the files from the component installation zip file). In the /language/admin folder of the package you'll find the file you are missing. Upload it to:

I did a clean uninstall (v2.5.7) and reinstall of the component and it had some problems, and I had also uninstalled (v2.5.9) and reinstalled but no progress.
I have now FTP'd the language files directly the location you specified and still seems to have the same problem.
I will see if I can correct permissions and then reinstall, and will post the result here.

Didn't seem to work so I did an uninstall and reinstall to get the error message:
# JInstaller::install: File '/home/ccc/public_html/newtest/tmp/install_4b24ba1f4e010/language/admin/en-GB.com_dtregister.ini' does not exist.
# JFTP::mkdir: Bad response
# JFTP::chmod: Bad response
Turns out the final package was missing that language file. Not sure how that happened. Download the package again and reinstall. Sorry for the inconvenience.
