Our client, Sally Secretary over at XYZ Corp., wants to enroll her boss and two of their salesreps in one of our classes. The class is normally $325 per student but we want to enable a discount of 20% for each student when two or more enroll at the same time.
We'd like to let Sally register all three people, capturing each of their names, and automatically give them the discount.
How would we set that up?
In advance, thanks,
Steven
P. S. Nice product, very comprehensive. Documentation would be helpful. The videos are a nice "supplement," but I think a real doco is needed. Is it there, somewhere, and I'm just not seeing it? Thanks again.
Simple... use a group registration... you can provide a cheaper rate to be applied once you have 2 or more people. You'd provide a cheaper per person rate. So in this case you'd have a price of $325 per person, but starting at two people, it becomes $260 per person which would be 20% off.
You mentioned the videos... did you not see this? It is one of the basic pricing structures that has always been a part of DT Register.

Actually, I probably did see it, but without knowing what I was looking at. If I went through all the videos I'd probably bump into exactly what I needed. I just didn't have the time (or patience) to view them all (yet). But I promise I will (eventually).
If, on the other hand, I had a printed doc I could flip through, or a searchable e-doc of some sort, I could readily find the part(s) on discounts and group registration, etc. I would have found my answer more quickly and conveniently, and wouldn't have needed to consume your valuable time with a one-to-one answer... though I greatly appreciate it -- thank you very much!!!
