I have created a few custom fields - three text fields and 2 checkbox options.

When I go to the frontend and choose my event, I find that all my text box fields are defaulted with the word None. It should be blank.

The None is actually the default checkbox for my checkbox options.

I have tried to remove the text fields and recreated them. They will only be blank if I show them after the checkbox. If the text fields are shown before the checkbox, they are all defaulted to None.

I would like them to be defaulted to blank. What should I do?

Hello. This was a bug that was occurring in some situations... we fixed it and updated the package today with the fix. If you already have version 2.5.8b then you can just manually replace the file:
/components/com_dtregister/dtregister.php

Otherwise, you should reinstall the updated package. Thanks.

FH45 - you can always go to My Orders after logging in... the download link there is available for one year after purchase and will always pull the latest package. Thanks.

I am still encountering this issue, after installing the update 2.5.8b. My textarea fields default to the value of No

If I go into PHPAdmin and clear the Selected field in the jom_dtregister_fields DB, then it defaults correctly but bombs on the registration.

Any other ideas?

Is anyone in support monitoring this thread? I am still encountering textarea fields that have the default value of "No" in everyone of them. If on the back end I change that value in MySql, then the registrations bombs out.

What do I do to remove this default value and force the field to have text in it? Right now required fields with this default value of No are processed as filled in, which is incorrect. Additionally the data looks wrong and I am unclear how to fix this.

HELP!!
