I am using dtregister for a charity golf tournament, and the most expensive ticket is $7500. DT Register won't let me charge that much.

There is one event, with lots of options for registering, so I'm starting with a base cost of 0.0 and adding the cost for every option. I'm trying to charge $7500 and lower with custom fields.

How can I do this?

Another thing the client wants to do, and is doing on his current site, is to collect donations as part of the registration with a text field. Can this be done also?

The client will use either Paypal or Authorize.net to collect registration fees.

DT Register has no limit to how much money you can process. If you are experiencing an issue with that, it would be due to limitations on either the PayPal and/or Authorize.net account.

As far as collecting donations, you could create a custom field for users to select a donation amount which would be added in, but you can not currently have a blank input field for users to manually enter a donation amount. Thanks.

For those reading this post, this user did submit a support ticket. We checked it out and found their problem had absolutely nothing to do with the size of their amounts, as was expected. The problem was that they had used HTML in the custom field values on this one particular field. HTML can not be used in the field values... only in the field label.
