TOPIC: Can I manipulate places available on event ?

Hi, DTH Register (and Joomla) newbie here ! Just about ready to go live with DT Register on our site and wanted to know if it is possible to 'manipulate' the number of places available, for example: 1 of our courses still has 4 places available (we only ever have 4 places as its a course). But in order to encourage people to book with us we want it sometimes to show only 1 place available, even though there is still really 4 available (ie no bookings). Maybe a little bit crafty on our part but a good marketing idea we hope !

Does anyone know if this is possible ? (we have latest version). And if so how we go about doing it.

Hello and welcome to Joomla and to DTH! There is not a built in method of doing this... however, you CAN create manual registrations in the backend. You could do a couple fake registrations which would create new records. This would then change your places available number. Then after someone really registers, you could delete a fake registration
