What I dislike about DT Register is the way you create a new event. First make it in JEvents and then in DT Register.

If this is the way to do it, I find it strange I can't reuse all the information entered in the JEvent registration. What is reused is date and title, but what about the description/information? Where can I give this kind of information to DT register so that users can read about the event they are going to register for?

I find you can link to an article, but this mean I have to write the informastion a third place. Is this really how DT Register is supposed to work?

I'm used to work with Attend Events but there is no version for Joomla 1.5. In Attend Events I entered event date and event information once, which I really miss now.

Can you please tell me if it is true I can't reuse information entered in JEvent?

You are correct that the description from JEvents is not pulled into DT Register anywhere. DT Register had not been previously intended for displaying full event details as it is already in the calendar. We recently added the article link as many people have event details in a full content page like a brochure about the event.

We are continually improving on our solutions... for some they are perfect, for some they are not. It will never be perfect for everyone as that is not possible :) However, hopefully soon DT Register will function with OR without JEvents involvement. it was initially developed to integrate as many users wanted to combine with a calendar. Anyway, stay tuned for future enhancements on this item.
