TOPIC: NEW in DTRegister does not show last JEvent

When I go to add a new event in DTRegister, it does not show the event I most recently entered (regardless of date) into JEvents. I have to add an additional phony event in JEvents in order to see in DTRegister the one I want to see. After I have set up DTRegister, I can eliminate the phony event with no bad consequences. I have had this problem with each install since May 4.

Why is this happening?

Is this a bug?

I am using Joomla 1.5.11
DT Register 2.5.2c
JEvents1.5 (downloaded and installed today) default layout with hack installed
php 5.2.9
mysql 5.0.67-community
