TOPIC: Language tags for event messages?

Hi, how is it with tags for translating the event messages/e-mails? Cannot find them in the [language].dtregister.php-files language files?:

I.e. these messages:

- Message and/or Instructions to display above the registration form
- \"Thank You\" message for the email that goes out to registrants
- Short description of the event to be displayed on the event list page
- Terms and conditions

No problem with successfully inserting the [NAME], [ORGANISATION]... -tags into the messages, but what about the message texts?

Has this been sorted out somehow yet?

Being able to use custom tags (like [DT_BELOW_EVENT_NAME] which would be read from the language files in all messages or automatic use of messages in language files like for Terms & Conditions would be perfect. Or of course of JoomFish is on its way into DTRegister .

Hello. There is no issue with this. All text IS in the language files. There are TWO language files just like in other components... one for the frontend and another for the backend text. As the items you are talking about are backend text, you must have not seen the admin language files. Go here:

/administrator/language/en-GB/en-GB.com_dtregister.ini

You'll find your missing items

I mean for instance the custom "Message and/or Instructions to display above the registration form for this event" and "Short description of the event to be displayed on the event list page".

And, of course it would be fantastic if custom tags could also be used for Custom Field Labels and Options etcetera but that is going a bit too deep into what could be done in a less messy way with JoomFish.
