Hi,

Is it possible to customize the order of the registration fields, i.e. having the zip code to appear before city, adding new fields or removing un-used fields?

Cheers,
Kaj

Hello. Currently the only way to reorder the standard fields would be making changes in the dtregister.php file. If you do not need a field at all, go to Settings -> Fields and you\'ll find that you can hide any field you don\'t need. For custom fields, you CAN reorder them as needed.

I have a couple of custom fields in CB for extra address information: they are called cb_address1 & cb_address2. Is it possible to pull this info into the registration form, where do i start?

I see this is a bit dated but wanted to keep the thread alive as it is a VERY good conversation.

This may become a non-issue with 2.6, but...

I need to add a new field to the reg fields (field = Title) after Last Name, before Organization. I know it can be done in the custom fields, but the client feels that displaying that after all the others is unacceptable. This will also have to go into the Thank You/Confirmation forms in same order.

I know this can be done via the dtregister.php file - as I've already done quite a bit in there including blowing it up and having to do a full file/db uninstall.

What I'm looking for is a simple how-to to ensure I hit all the right code chunks in the .php file (and more so to avoid another nukeing of the install).

OR I am open to a custom development fee.

If not, I'll do my best to document my adventures for others.

Thanks in advance,
Jonathan

2.6 adds two new regular field options: Title and Address2. The Title field shows before the Firstname / Lastname. It is a dropdown that you can populate with what options show.

Thanks for the update...you guys are QUICK and I keep hearing of good things coming in 2.6.

It seems this title is more for salutation (mr./mrs/etc) which is GREAT...but my client needs it for job title.

Any chance of how-to customize registration fields? or should put on my bio-hazard suit and go mucking around in the .php code? I'm also open for this to be custom dev work...
