We have had a problem when registrants are having difficulty getting on the PayPal site. For example, PayPal is receiving many requests at once and is busy. If the registrant clicks back on the browser, because the connection gets hung up when they are being redirected to the PayPal website, a duplicate registration record is created. As a result, there will be several unpaid registrations (depending upon how many times they hit back) and one paid one (when they finally complete the PayPal transaction).
We then have to go back and delete the duplicates. Has anyone else noticed this?
Will a record be created once they leave our site, so we will know that they tried to register?
We have had a few people not realize that we are only taking credit card payments via PayPal at this time and stop the process when they get to PayPal. This is, of course, after many notifications that this is the case. We know that this has happened because a record has been created and we have been able to get payment from these people (who don\'t read instructions!).
