We are receiving duplicate registrations and emails. People are registering for events, paying with PayPal, and then receiving 5-7 confirmation emails that they are registered.
PayPal is only charging them once.
When I look at the Registration records, the duplicates appear in DTRegister as well.
If I delete the duplicates, all of that registrants records are deleted and I have to manually add them back in as Paid at the Door.
What is causing these duplicates in the software or MySQL database?
We had a similar issue last summer. We had duplicates with duplicate e-mail sent but only one charge from PayPal. Never could figure it out although the registrants only appear once in the database so I don\'t think that is the issue.
Our fix was to include in the e-mail and the instructions that you may receive duplicate e-mails but are only registered once. That seem to have fixed the concerns of the registrants.
We have not had that problem since that time.

We are receiving multiple emails but one charge, and multiple entries into the database. Seems as if something relationally is broken in database, as if I delete one entry of the duplicates, all get deleted.
Not sure where to start. Installed the latest update this morning but not resolving.
There are presently some issues with PayPal registrations that happen in some scenarios. We are revamping the paypal function in DT Register using PayPal IPN to fix this and other problems that are related. The update should be released within a day.

I am very interested in the next release if it will indeed use Paypal IPN. Please let me know if that version will release soon and if it does support IPN.
