TOPIC: Fee fields deposits and discounts needed - HELP!

Hello,

I am trying to work out how to do various things in dt register I would be grateful for any help or advice you can offer.

I am using dtregister 2.3.5 in Joomla 1.5 legacy mode

I want to set up registrations with the ability for registrants to pay a deposit only on registration and the balance later.

They also need to be able to choose various options affecting the price such as payment for half day, daily and weekly attendance.(I have set up custom fee fields for this but it doesn\'t update the price when any of these are checked - is there a way to change that?)

lastly, some sort of coupon that allows a discount to members of an organisation.

In order to make this work in terms of how I lay out my custom fields I wanted to add an information only field ie a hidden field that simply displays a label eg \"please check the boxes for the days you plan to attend\" There doesn\'t seem to be that option when setting up custom fields.

Well, I have been struggling for hours and thoroughly frustrated and ready to reluctantly abandon due to exhaustion!

1. I can\'t get the check boxes I set up to work. Regardless of whether I enable them on the form when registering they all show up checked in registration management so I can\'t tell what options the delegate chose.

Does that make sense? What am I doing wrong? Tried everything I can think of.

2. The form is all bunched up with no spaces between the fields - is there an easy way to fix?

3. I have been trying to add a field to space out the form a bit but there doesn\'t seem to be away to easily add a delimiter or an information only field. I have looked on the forum and don\'t see an answer to that anywhere.

4. Terms and Conditions doesn\'t seem to show up right. I saw another post about this but the suggestion there didn\'t work the lightbox seems to be fixed to the bottom of the page and if I resize the scroll bar seems to disappear.

5. I want to allow the delegate to pay a deposit so I thought to make the total cost the deposit amount so it prompts them to pay that. Could I then link somehow to dtbilling to pay the balance later?

6. My client also wants the user to be able to login and register for other courses later. Is it possible to have the fields auto complete when logged in?

Hope someone can help or suggest another solution that will work.
