TOPIC: Anyone Installed JEvents for Native Joomla 1.5?

Anyone installed JEvents for Native Joomla 1.5? If you have did you experience the error I have below? How did you get past it?

Fatal error: Call to undefined method JFactory::getdate() in /public_html/components/com_events/libraries/helper.php on line 458.

I believe if I could get past this error the component would work and I could buy your software! I will post this error in your forum in another topic and see if I get any answers.

I\'ve tried the alpha and the RC2. Both are buggy and I would not put on a live site to save my life.

I have JEvents v1.4.3 RC2 (Joomla 1.5 with the legacy mode enabled) installed on my live site and I have had no problems with it at all.

Have you tried it in the legacy mode or do you have to use Native Joomla 1.5?

I love DT Register by the way as it has really boosted our online registration...

I have JEvents v1.4.3 RC2 up and working fine. I think my issue was soemthing else. THough the other version of Jevents I used was very buggy 1.5 I believe.
