TOPIC: Group rates not calculated?

Well I went ahead and bought the component.

A quick test of a group registration for 2 people, my wife and I, with the same address and same email resulted in a registration in my wifes name (whom I entered last) with me as a group member and a total event cost of $12 when the individual rate was $12.

The instructions say that you only have to fill in the group discount chart if you want to discount group memberships, so there must be something wrong with the code that calculates the totals.

Also, having to completely fill out the address info for each member of a family group who all have the same address seems a little extreme and inconvenient for customers. It would be nice if address carried over from group member to group member. I had read somewhere that you could control which fields are presented for group members, but that must only apply to custom fields.

Hello Forrest. Regarding group calculation, you must not have something setup correctly. Please log a support ticket with admin access and we\'ll check it for you. Support tickets are the primary method of support anyway

Regarding the fields, go to Comonents -> DT Register -> Settings, then on the Fields tab, you can set which fields to show for each group member.

Just as a test I deleted the event from DT register and started again. Set the event up exactly the same way it was before. Tested by registering my wife and I and this time it collected both of our information and as the last step it collected the group information. I assume this is how it should have worked the first time, but at any rate it seems to be working fine now. Chalk it up to gremlins
