Since JEvents is required to run DT Register, I was hoping someone might have a solution to this problem.

I have installed both JEvents 1.4.2 (for Joomla 1.5) and DT Register 2.3.2. However, when testing the products, I have come across a problem in JEvents. To create an event, you are required to create and assign a category for the event. In JEvents, I have added 2 categories, however, when I attempt to create a new event, there are no categories listed in the drop down menu.

Has anyone else come across this problem and have a potential solution?

Make sure you have the categories published. After creating them, they are NOT published automatically. That should get you rolling! :)
