Hi,

Is it possible to allow a single user to register for a group?

I.E. one contact for a company can book in for 10 people to attend an event without having to fill in 10 forms with individual details. They would only need to fill in one form with their own details.

Thanks

Hello, I wounder this as well. It is realy highly needed to be able to disable this in a group registration. One persom should be able to register a group without the need to fill in the details of every person in the group.

If you do not actually need information for each person in the group, then you really don\'t need to use an actual group registration. You could just set the event for individual registrations and create a custom field for the user to select how many people are in the group. You could even have that selection modify the price if needed.

The downside to this option is that it does not count each member in your total number of registered users. If you are not displaying that column on the frontend list, this may not be an issue for you.

If that is a problem for you, then you could go to the Settings area and mark to only get First Name and Last Name for each member. You do not have to collect all of the regular form data for each member. You can choose which fields (including custom fields) to show for each member. So you can simplify the form for each member, or just use individual registrations with a custom field.

That sounds nice but if I have an event that has a maximized number of attendents does it count against that.
What I am saying is:
An event can take max 200 people and first there is a registration as an individual for a group of 100 people and the there is another individual registration for a group of 120 people. Will the system tell the it isn\'t possible, the event is full?

How do I do to modify the price for the registration?

Like I said, the downside is that if you use individual registration for collecting a group number, it will NOT count towards your number of registered people. If you have a capacity limit, this will probably not be a good option. You\'ll need to stick with group registrations most likely.

Regarding price modification... that\'s totally off topic here, but go to event management and click on the name of the event. It will open a window to modify the details, including the price. be sure to watch our video tutorials :)

Thanks dthadmin,

Could You maybe consider adding the feature for future versions to disable the need of registration for every person in the group and just have the number of attendents?
