Not sure why, and I can\'t find a validation setting... but when a user tries to register at an event, the get a popup message \"Both Email Addresses must be same\"... even when the email is clearly the same and even copied and pasted.

The site can be tested at LINK HERE .

Please assist... I purchased DT, so I wouldn\'t have these problems...

Cheers

Update.
I have discovered this only happens when the \"Click here to register\" is used that is generated via the mambot. When the event is opened from the DTREGISTER table list, it works a treat.

I uninstalled the mambot and even deleted the files, and the link is still generated on each event.

Any help please

I had that problem in an earlier version of DT Register (sorry, I don\'t remember which one). It was resolved by upgrading. Which version of DT Register are you on?

(Be sure to test the upgrade before installing on your production site. There are isolated compatibility issues on some sites.)

Thanks Don... I have the latest version as I only just started using DT Register. Mind you I can\'t find the actual version number on the GUI. According to dtregister.php it is 2.3.2

Norm, first of all I see no support ticket for this issue. Second, no one has reported this before either. The issue seems to be related to the Itemid being used in the link. The link you provided pulls itemid=72. From the DT Register main list of events, it uses Itemid=999999 which generally means that you don\'t have a component menu item setup for DT Register. This email validation issue doesn\'t happen when using other itemids. Clearly, there is a conflict of some sort with one of the other items that show on the page when using itemid=72... the other modules there.

As stated in your other support ticket, you should download DT Register and make sure you have a fresh install with the latest fixes. Also reinstall the mambot to make sure you have the latest version of that too.

What is the Itemid assigned to your DT Register menu item? Do you even have one?

After updating everything, let us know if the issue persists. At that point, providing admin login details in a support ticket will enable us to check things out for you. Thanks.

I have received an email about my other issues, and for the time being I have unpatched the JEvents, so that the \"Register Here for this event\" doesn\'t show, which has fixed my problem.

Thanks
