TOPIC: JFolder::create: Could not create directory

I am upgrading from DT Register from 2.7.16 to 3.0.1 on Joomla 1.5.19 and get the following message - JFolder::create: Could not create directory Warning! Failed to move file. Unable to find install package. I uninstalled earlier version. Checked global settings and FTP is Off. Permissions for image/dtregister folders are 777. Any ideas???

This problem has been resolved. Found that my host provider had moved my website to another server so my root directory had changed. Hence, the Joomla TMP and LOG directories could not be found. Changed my configuration.php to point to the correct location and all is well.
