TOPIC: opinions on paypal please

Hello,
I recently developed a website powered by Joomla 1.5.2 and installed DT Register which replaced the \'webstore\' in the old site. Everything is working great, and we opted to go with only Paypal to avoid having to worry about the security on our own site. Now the financial manager at the business is concerned about PayPal and is considering looking at other options. I am just wondering how many of you opt to use Paypal and what your feedback is.

My .02, PayPal is fine for people/businesses that don\'t have a merchant account, or that have a merchant account that doesn\'t have a gateway that will work with the current cart or solution your implementing. Any business that has a merchant account would/should rather use their merchant account because they\'ll get much better rates than PayPal. And, could be argued that a business that can process their own payments through their own website gives off a more professional appearance than one that only offers PayPal.
